Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion at Events: An Update

As event organisers, we produced a blog previously, providing EDIA guidance to help plan upcoming events.

In addition, we have released guidance on how to make presentation slides more accessible at events which we are pleased to share with you: read here. For instance, did you know that a few simple updates to slides can make them much more inclusive for everyone?

Added Value

Investors in People: Fitwise reaccredited Platinum until 2027!

As we mentioned previously, at the beginning of 2024 Fitwise were reaccredited with the Platinum IIP. Platinum is the highest award that can be achieved against the Investors in People Standard and we are incredibly proud to remain amongst only 2% of companies in the UK to achieve this level.

During this year’s Investor’s in People celebration in May, the Platinum award was formally presented to our Managing Director Paul Harrison, by Eddie Salmon, Investors in People Practitioner Manager for IIP. Around 40 organisations were represented although only 5-6 companies were awarded Platinum standard on the day.

What does IIP mean for our clients?

As a result, this mark of excellence means that our clients can work with Fitwise safe in the knowledge that we are a reputable company, we look after our people, and we attract the best talent!
