This month, we caught up with our Events Manager, Jackie McCafferty.
What do you like about working at Fitwise?
I like the team spirit that we have throughout Fitwise, we are small company and everyone knows each other and helps one another out. There is also opportunity to progress and develop within the company and gain experience within different departments. It’s also great to have the CSR (Corporate and Social Responsibility) team who organise different fundraising activities throughout the year which we can all get involved in, have fun and raise money for worthy causes.
What are the benefits of working for an employee owned company like Fitwise?
We all get a say in the company and are all working towards the same goal of making the business a success.
Where’s your favourite place in the world?
One of my favourite places in the world has to be Venice. I visited Venice for the day whilst in another part of Italy and I absolutely loved it. It’s so picturesque and there is so many lovely shops and restaurants. I could have spent a full day sitting in Saint Marks square watching the world go by and doing some serious people watching lol!! I would love to go back and spend more time there so if my husband reads this blog, my Birthday is coming up!
Do you have any pets?
No! I don’t have any pets, I’m not really an animal loving person much to the horror of many of my family members and colleagues. I got bitten with a German Shepherd when I was young and have been scared of dogs ever since.
If you could have 3 wishes granted, what would they be?
- Find a cure for Cancer!
- Win the lottery!
- Longer legs!
