With Employee Appreciation Week 2026 officially wrapped up, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on everything that made this year so special.
At Fitwise, this week is all about our people. It’s a chance for us to give back, recognise the incredible work happening across the business, and celebrate the individuals who make our workplace what it is.
We kicked things off on day one with the introduction of our new office walking workstation and it’s safe to say it’s been a huge hit! We know a lot of the team takes their step count seriously, so this felt like the perfect addition to support wellbeing while working.
Alongside this, we launched our Appreciation Wall, which stayed up all week. Everyone had the chance to recognise their colleagues with thoughtful, handwritten notes and by the end of the week, it was completely filled with kind words, gratitude, and positivity. It was fantastic to see so much appreciation shared across the whole team.
Midweek Highlights
Day two brought something a little different, as the brilliant Soapy Souter team came in to give everyone’s cars a well-deserved clean, leaving them sparkling by the end of the day!
On day three, we slowed things down with a relaxing Coorie Home Co. mini candle-making session. This was a lovely opportunity to unwind, get creative, and enjoy some time away from desks. Everyone created their own custom-scented candles and as a bonus, both the office (and now our homes!) smelled incredible.
Food, Fun & Time Together
Day four gave us the chance to come together over a delicious lunch from Thistles Coffee Shop & Catering. It was great to step away from our desks, enjoy some amazing food, and spend quality time catching up as a team.
Celebrating our People
Alongside all the activities, we also had some fantastic prizes up for grabs throughout the week.
A key highlight was recognising and celebrating the Fitwise values, along with awarding our Best Colleague and Best Team. These moments are always incredibly special, as they shine a light on the people who go above and beyond and make a real difference every day.
- We Go Above and Beyond: Amanda Wilson – Recognised for her incredible time, effort, and dedication to both the finance team and the wider Fitwise business, consistently going the extra mile and being a joy to work with.
- We Care Always: Jade Lawson – Awarded for her outstanding contributions, including volunteering as a Mental Health First Aider and founding the Fitwise Wellness Clubs, creating meaningful support, connection, and wellbeing across the business while bringing genuine care to everything she does.
- We Work in Partnership with You: Sharon Mill – Celebrated for building strong, lasting client relationships, understanding needs deeply, and consistently delivering with professionalism, while also strengthening collaboration internally across the company.
- We Work Hard & Have Fun: Janah Faulds – Recognised for her resilience, positivity, and fantastic attitude, consistently bringing energy, enthusiasm, and team spirit while balancing hard work with fun, even through challenges.
- Best Colleague Award: Gosia Figurska – Voted by the team for being a consistently positive influence who lives the company values, supports others, shares knowledge, and takes on additional responsibilities while making a meaningful impact across the business.
- Best Team Award: ACP Client Team (Kendel, Gosia, Sophie, Sammy, Elaine & Katie) – Honoured for delivering exceptional quality, responsiveness, and collaboration, earning outstanding feedback and contributing to strong client satisfaction and long-term value.
Alongside our awards, we also had a fantastic selection of prizes to recognise and reward team members throughout the week through our prize draw, congratulations to all of our lucky winners!

Overall, Employee Appreciation Week 2026 was a huge success. Filled with fun, recognition, and meaningful moments. Most importantly, it reminded us just how lucky we are to have such a brilliant team at Fitwise. 💫 We can’t wait to see what Employee Appreciation Week 2027 has in store!
