“Fitwise helped me realise my vision for our national day of celebration During my term as BAUN President, Fitwise has not only helped me to create and implement my strategic trajectory as leader of our professional organisation, but also helped me to bring tentative ideas for success to reality. I had the idea that we could invent a national day to celebrate urological health professionals. This day would encourage our existing membership to fundraise for BAUN and help to drive new membership. I had no idea where to begin which such a plan, no idea of the important factors to consider or how our national day may come about. In a meeting with Stacy and our other Fitwise client support team we were helped to flesh out the implications of choosing a day, key stakeholders to involve, new audiences to explore and the ramifications of how this project may interface with our charity partners and corporate sponsors. With Fitwise's help, we began to realise that not only was this a feasible project to implement, but that it would have limited cost implications for us in terms of initial outlay. Stacy suggested that we should consider tying in the day with an educational event and so BAUN day was born. On the day, our team showcased a day of education in Newcastle, complete with exhibition space. We had almost 70 attendees and had over 30 new membership sign-ups as part of the event. Fitwise, was there at every stage to offer advice and talk through things which may or may not work. Their entrusted support never felt restrictive in that we were in full executive control of the concept and the delivery of BAUN day but had the confidence of knowing that we had all necessary information to make the decisions the were right for us. We were hugely satisfied with the flagship day and all social media collateral around the event, so much so that we have decided to run BAUN Day as a yearly event. As full time working professionals we certainly would never have had the acumen to create such a project ourselves without the help of the Fitwise team and BAUN Day would never have happened. They made the seemingly impossible become a reality for us with no fuss or bumps in the road.”
