Association Management and An Annual Conference

Overview:  Our client is the British Academy of Audiology (BAA), who are the largest association of professionals in hearing and balance in the UK with a membership of 1,800 which extends internationally and provides services in both the public and private sector.  BAA holds a 2-day annual conference which attracts over 500 delegates, 50 exhibitors and 100 abstracts and is largest event for audiology professionals in the UK.

What do we do?  Fitwise provides BAA with full association management and conference organising support.Fitwise’s association management responsibilities include dedicated PA service to the BAA Board, full membership administration, full bookkeeping support, marketing and sales support to include the production of a quarterly magazine.  Conference services include a full event management service for the conference to include delegate and speaker management, onsite support, delegate marketing and exhibition and sponsorship sales. The event utilises the latest innovative technologies to enhance the delegate experience and has included a public drop-in centre to improve local audiology service awareness. In 2017 the BAA Annual conference was shortlisted the EventIt Conference/Association Event Excellence award.
