On Wednesday 12th March, the Clinical Human Factors Group (CHFG) help their Safety Science and Solutions Conference at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole. CHFG are a new client of ours and this was our first time running their conference. As with all new events, you never know what to expect and you try to plan for all eventualities and you just hope that you don’t need your Plan B!

I am pleased to say that they event ran as planned without a hitch and it was fun for me to attend and run. We hosted over 150 delegates, 15 exhibiting companies and 32 speakers during the event, which has its challenges, but this is what makes running events so much fun.

As an event manager, seeing an event come together onsite is one of the most rewarding things about my job and it makes the early morning starts and late finished onsite worthwhile.
